My boyfriend and I have been living in our apartment for almost two years now. We’ve seen a cat in our apartment, but not too often. My boyfriend has seen it full figure and come walking to him, I’ve only seen the end of its tail and out of the corner of my eye. Not sure what your beliefs are that won't allow you to open your mind, but let me just say this: the world is big and we understand, even in this modern age, very little of it. To think that we have total knowledge of our planet in 2007 is as arrogant and short-sighted a notion today as it would have been in 1000 BC. There is evidence of things occurring here that are unexplainable with contemporary modes of scientific instrumentation. Perhaps someday we'll be able to more aptly explain these things we conveniently label "ghosts," but for now, raw experience and "faith" are all we have. Now, this might not seem too odd. Not only could it have perhaps been a remnant of her deceased cat, but there were also two other cats in the house. Several years ago, Magical-Dawg died in September, and Seren-Kitty died in December. I don’t recall any visitation from either of them. Perhaps they were too busy continuing to pester each other. It all depends on what they need out of this current life. What are they trying to fix? What hole are they closing up? I have had more real expereinces with what I cannot see [read: hauntings] than I have with God. I believe there is room on our planet for both, eventhough neither can be documented.

5. Ghost Cat Apparitions

When it comes to ghost cats, odds are they just want to continue living their life in a non-threatening way. So, let’s just say you have a ghost cat in your house… unless they are physically harming you, is it really a big deal? That is something you have to answer on your own.

Do I Want A Pet Ghost?

I never saw the cat again, although I heard the yowls each year on October 29 th at about 8:30 p.m. Maybe I imagined it? All I know is the spectral cat cries stopped after my Seren-kitty adopted us. One example of this is, a cat names Oscar who lives in a nursing home in Rhode Island. Oscar is known for predicting a patient’s death, and will climb onto the dying patient’s bed and stay with them until they die. Sometimes, Oscar will stay with the patient the day before death, or even a few hours beforehand. Oscar’s behavior sometimes helped notify the staff of a dying patient, and even proved the staff’s predictions to be wrong at times. He looked at me, nodded his head and disapeared and since that time, I have not had an encounter with him.
