I received this fragrance as a gift about 2 years ago and whenever I smell it, it reminds me of a warm summer day, wearing a clean white t-shirt and being outside with either my best friend or with a girl, having a pick-nick or a stroll in the park, early in the morning. A clean, fresh air, subtle stepped out the shower aroma which is just like its brother Joop Jump, and it's incredibly synthetic. Celebrating the modern man, Joop aftershaves are vibrant and unforgettable, taking advantage of notes like orange blossom, jasmine, rhubarb, cinnamon and tobacco to create its collection. That bright opening quickly fades and you’re left with the residual rhubarb and vague fruitiness hidden deep away under a green bitterness.

But it quickly gave way to an uninteresting and all but untraceable base that on a bad day could at best be described as dusty. It has that Joop aura, heaviness, although silage and longevity are moderate to close to the skin scent. And as far as citrus, I don't get anything from that either even though it has "bitter orange" as it's top note. I would recommend wearing Joop Go during Spring as it has a refreshing crisp woods aroma that would wear beautifully on a sunny day. It starts with refreshing notes of rhubarb and bitter orange accented with pimento chillies which gives the scent a nice kick.

Anyone in The UK who likes this, or the idea of it, but doesn’t want to risk performance issues, I can heartily recommend ‘Next - Signature Vert’.
